How does Songle work?

Songle is a daily music guessing game. Every 24 hours, a new song challenge is released. You'll hear a 3-second clip and have 6 tries to identify the song. With each correct guess, you unlock more of the track until you either solve it or run out of tries.

Can I play past puzzles?

Yes! All users can access the song archive and replay up to 2 songs per day for free. With Songle Premium, you get unlimited access to replay all 1,800+ past puzzles anytime.

What is Songle Premium?

Songle Premium is a one-time purchase ($4.99 USD) that gives you:

  • Unlimited hints per puzzle
  • Unlimited archive access (replay any past song)
  • Ad-free gameplay

It's a one-time purchase with lifetime access - no subscriptions or recurring charges.

How do hints work?

In the free version, you can watch a short rewarded video to earn one hint, which reveals a letter in the song name. With Songle Premium, you get unlimited hints with no ads.

What is a streak?

Your streak is the number of consecutive daily puzzles you've solved. Solve today's puzzle to keep your streak alive. Miss a day and your streak resets to zero.

Can I sync my progress across devices?

Yes! Songle uses CloudKit to automatically sync your progress across all your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac). Just sign in with the same Apple ID.

How often are new songs added?

A new daily puzzle is released every 24 hours at midnight (your local time). Past puzzles are always available in the archive.

What music genres are included?

Songle features a diverse mix of popular songs across all genres - pop, rock, hip-hop, country, R&B, indie, and more. Songs come from artists across different eras and regions.

Is there offline play?

Songle requires an internet connection to fetch daily puzzles and sync your progress. However, once a puzzle is downloaded, you can play it offline.

How do I reset my progress?

If you want to reset your progress, you can sign out of your Apple ID and sign back in, or delete and reinstall the app. Note that deleting the app will remove all local data.

Troubleshooting

The app won't load

  • Check your internet connection
  • Force close the app and reopen it
  • Restart your device
  • Update to the latest version of Songle

I'm not seeing my progress on another device

  • Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID on both devices
  • Check that both devices are connected to the internet
  • Give CloudKit a few moments to sync (usually instant, but up to a few minutes)
  • Restart the app on the device showing outdated progress

The audio isn't playing

  • Check that your device's volume is turned up and mute is off
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Try restarting the app
  • Check your device's audio settings to ensure Songle has permission to play sound

The daily puzzle hasn't updated

  • Check that your device's date and time are set correctly
  • Force close and reopen the app
  • Ensure you have an active internet connection

Account & Purchases

How do I restore a past purchase of Songle Premium?

Go to Settings > (Your Name) > Media & Purchases > Purchases. Find Songle and tap "Restore." Your Premium features will be restored immediately.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for Songle Premium are handled through Apple App Store. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, select Songle, and request a refund within 14 days of purchase.

My subscription renewed, but I bought a one-time purchase

Songle does not have subscriptions - only a one-time Premium purchase. If you were charged unexpectedly, contact Apple Support or reach out to us at support@songle.app.

Privacy & Data

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your gameplay data is encrypted and stored securely via Apple's CloudKit. We don't sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I delete my account?

You can reset your data by deleting the app and removing your Apple ID from your device. To permanently request deletion of your account data, email support@songle.app.
